It requires exceptional financial management and analytical skills for the annual business planning process and forecasting. The Director will advise the CEO on short- and long-term strategies, influence stakeholders to achieve goals, and lead the senior executive team in advancing strategic plans. Additionally, the role aids in service line development by identifying, evaluating, and gaining consensus for new or expanded services, collaborating with leaders to ensure physician engagement and operational readiness. Performance monitoring through key indicators and competitive intelligence gathering are crucial. The Director also manages the Provider Outreach Program to meet community needs through physician recruitment, building targeted objectives, supporting priorities, and developing strategies. This includes ensuring awareness of new initiatives, identifying and remediating service issues, and developing physician relationships and manpower plans. The role involves analyzing data for fact-based decision-making and monitoring variances to understand facility trends, identifying and vetting new business opportunities, and implementing corrective actions. Finally, it leads an effective consumer engagement plan to improve consumer experience through marketing plans with measurable ROI, consumer education, and participation in patient advisory and satisfaction committees.
