The Director of Strategy and Quality Practices, Volunteerism, leads the advancement of community-based services across the YMCA network by unifying strategies, aligning practices, and driving quality improvement. The role guides the adoption of leading practices, mobilizes systemwide activation support, and cultivates partnerships. A key focus of this position is strengthening local Ys in their operational excellence—ensuring they are equipped with consistent, high-quality approaches that support organizational health, sustainability, and long-term success. Operating as a strategic leader and facilitator of the network, this role informs innovation, accelerates shared outcomes, and enhances the overall vitality of the YMCA. YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) embraces a remote-first working environment which means most employees work remotely from a home office within the continental United States.
