About The Position

This role is responsible for facilitating the annual strategic planning process, conducting market intelligence research, preparing executive communications, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and building financial models. Additionally, the role involves managing the project portfolio, establishing PMO frameworks, and leading enterprise-wide projects. The position also oversees the capacity and demand planning cycle, translating forecasts into actionable plans, standardizing playbooks, improving forecast accuracy, analyzing demand volatility, and providing insights for executive decision-making regarding acquisitions, capital expenditures, and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or internal corporate strategy.
  • Exceptional proficiency in building or maintaining ad hoc financial models.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for executive audiences.
  • Ability to work in a high growth, acquisitive environment.
  • Experience leading large projects with strong understanding of principles of project management excellence.
  • Experience leading or participating in regular S&OP meetings to identify and resolve gaps between capacity and demand.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is highly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or multi-unit retail a plus.
  • PMP certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the annual strategic planning process, helping regions and functions define their goals and ensuring alignment with the overarching corporate vision.
  • Conduct deep-dive research into industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor moves to identify growth opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare high quality presentations and briefing materials for the Board of Directors and the C-Suite.
  • Ensure functional strategy (Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, and Operations) is properly connected to the overall corporate vision.
  • Build sophisticated models to project the impact of strategic initiatives, including ROI calculations for potential investments.
  • Align the project portfolio with corporate strategy by partnering with executive leadership to prioritize high-value initiatives and sunset projects that no longer meet ROI thresholds.
  • Establish and refine PMO frameworks, methodologies, and governance standards to ensure consistent delivery across all project types and project managers.
  • Facilitate the PMO steering committee to ensure project managers are prepared to present well-organized and informative project updates against milestones and deliverables.
  • Lead enterprise-wide projects for which cross-functional alignment and change management are required to ensure smooth implementation with minimal disruption.
  • Create and facilitate the monthly capacity and demand planning cycle, orchestrating executive-level meetings (Demand Review, Capacity Review, Gap Analysis, and Executive Approval) to reach a single, consensus-based operating plan.
  • Bridge the gap between provider capacity and patient demand by translating market-facing forecasts into actionable gap recovery plans.
  • Partner with support and regional leadership to standardize playbooks across different regions and functions to ensure a unified approach to common issue resolution.
  • Improve forecast accuracy by integrating statistical modeling combined with practice-level insights.
  • Analyze demand volatility and regional variability to identify leading indicators of demand surpluses or shortfalls that may not be evident from management planning alone.
  • In concert with the annual strategic planning process, develop capacity and demand insights that will inform the executive team and assist in planning acquisition targets, capital expenditures, and organizational needs.
