About The Position

Director Strategic Sourcing – External Manufacturing at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will play a pivotal role in expanding and scaling our next-generation cloud services. As a leader of the External Manufacturing Sourcing Team, you will make strategic decisions that impact supplier cost, technical capabilities, and supply availability, ensuring the delivery of critical hardware to our customers. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply of External Manufacturing partners while driving sourcing strategy, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and cross-functional execution. The Director will lead a team of Sourcing Managers and partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, and suppliers to support business growth and capacity requirements. The ideal candidate has proven experience sourcing server component hardware, strong supplier relationships, and robust hardware infrastructure expertise. You will develop and communicate strategic sourcing category plans, enabling effective cross-functional alignment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will represent Oracle Cloud to senior leaders and executives at key suppliers. Responsibilities
