As Director / Sr. Director, Technology Services, you’ll lead digital transformations within the Adobe ecosystem as a strategic architect, driving architecture strategy from pre-sale vision through post-sale execution. You’ll help enterprise organizations configure the Adobe suite (AEP, AEM, Target, CDP, Marketo, AJO, CJA) into an engine for growth — untangling complex data models to build true 360° customer profiles, enabling clients to move beyond static campaigns into real-time, personalized, omnichannel journeys, and translating complex client requirements into actionable blueprints that drive measurable conversions and revenue.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in marketing technology, solution architecture, or data engineering roles within digital agencies or enterprise environments
  • Experience leading teams through Agile and/or waterfall development lifecycles, consistently delivering technical solutions that meet strict timeline and budget constraints
  • Experience mentoring cross-functional teams, fostering technical excellence, and influencing strategic direction
  • Proven experience designing and implementing at least three of the following tools within the Adobe ecosystem: AEM, AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA.
  • Proven experience integrating tools such as the following with the Adobe ecosystem to tailor data models for B2C and B2B clients: Data Warehouses & CDPs (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, Hightouch); Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Marketo Engage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot); CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot); and CMS/Web Platforms (e.g., Optimizely, WordPress, Sitecore)
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, identity resolution, and customer 360 architecture
  • Experience integrating and operationalizing AI/ML capabilities within marketing and data platforms
  • Strong background in API design, data contracts, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Extensive experience leading VP & C-Suite level technical discussions and recommendations; comfortable leading discovery workshops, requirements working sessions, whiteboarding complex architectures live, and conducting technical pre-sales demos that bridge the gap between feature functionality and business value
  • Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to translate technical concepts (APIs, schemas, identity graphs) into clear business outcomes for executive audiences
  • Candidates must have current U.S. or Canada work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Adobe-centric, enterprise digital transformation projects as the SME accountable for solution architecture and data strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives
  • Develop forward-looking integration frameworks that unify Adobe technologies (AEP, AEM, Target, CDP, Marketo, AJO, CJA) and other tech integrations into cohesive, data-driven operating models
  • Drive architectural standards, patterns, and governance models that support scale, performance, and innovation
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to executive client stakeholders on emerging Adobe capabilities including AI/ML features, data strategies and integrations
  • Ensure that the “vision” sold during pre-sales is technically feasible, scalable, and executed with architectural integrity
  • Manage and mentor architects and platform experts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and keeping the team ahead of the curve on emerging Adobe capabilities
  • Champion Agile delivery methodologies to orchestrate cross-functional execution, ensuring complex technical solutions are deployed on schedule and within budget while maintaining architectural integrity
  • Support training and knowledge transfer on key client engagements to support enablement of project launches
  • Collaborate with Sales, Partner Alliances, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams during pre-sale activities, including acting as an Adobe SME in initial prospect conversations to assess client needs, pain points, and readiness, as well as scoping, shaping, and presenting technical solutions and proposals
  • Lead or support scoping sessions, translating high-level business goals into technical recommendations and level-of-effort (LOE) estimates
  • Develop and present solution roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and phased delivery approaches aligned to client maturity and growth goals
  • Represent Shift Paradigm in co-selling scenarios within our Adobe partnership, articulating solution value and differentiation
  • Provide thought leadership in RFP/RFI responses, ensuring technical feasibility, clarity, and alignment with best practices
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data science, generative AI, and automation frameworks to drive proactive insights and customer engagement
  • Embed AI/ML capabilities across client ecosystems to enhance personalization, predictive modeling, and marketing automation performance
  • Partner with internal innovation initiatives to prototype new solutions, accelerators, and reusable frameworks that differentiate Shift Paradigm’s offerings
  • Lead technical resources supporting project delivery (onshore, nearshore, and offshore), ensuring technical standards, code quality practices, and platform best practices are followed
  • Serve as part of the leadership team on enterprise accounts, responsible for overall delivery quality and financial targets for an individual client relationship
  • Lead technical discussions and recommendations with VP & C-Suite level executives
  • Translate technical concepts (APIs, schemas, identity graphs) into clear business outcomes for executive audiences
