About The Position

This hybrid role, based in Rogers, AR, requires in-office collaboration three days per week. The Director will lead a team of Space Planning professionals providing project-based support to Category Advisors and Category Captains serving leading CPG manufacturers. The role is primarily focused on Walmart category reviews and the MOD relay process, while also supporting category management initiatives across multiple retail channels. Key responsibilities include client relationship management, project execution, financial performance, associate development, and business growth. The leader will oversee project scoping, resource planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery, leveraging automation and AI-enabled solutions to drive efficiency, quality, and client value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in space management, category management, retail analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in Walmart category reviews, MOD development, MOD relay processes, and retail space planning.
• Advanced proficiency with Blue Yonder Space Planning/Floor Planning and planogram automation tools.
• Strong experience in client relationship management, project delivery, budgeting, resource planning, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering Walmart category reviews, MOD relay execution, planogram development, floor planning, and category management solutions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery through effective planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution.
• Oversee financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and resource utilization for assigned client engagements.
• Drive best practices in retail space planning while leveraging Blue Yonder, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, expand services, and support business development through solution design, proposals, and presentations.
