The Director of Sourcing Transformation and Innovation will lead and drive strategic initiatives to transform and optimize our sourcing and procurement processes. This role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies and ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. A key focus will be leveraging the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize how we operate, driving efficiency, and creating a competitive advantage. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, change management, data analytics, generative AI, and process improvement with a focus on managing teams and implementing key strategic goals.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, or managing AI technologies or projects. This includes familiarity with machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI-related fields. Experience with AI frameworks and tools
  • Proven track record of leading successful sourcing transformation initiatives, including AI-driven projects.
  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a function.
  • Previous success in influencing business decisions made by functional leadership and others outside of the function regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making and AI technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and matrixed organization.
  • Experience in sourcing and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing transformation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, with a focus on AI-driven solutions.
  • AI Integration: Lead the integration of AI technologies into sourcing and procurement processes to enhance decision-making, predict trends, and optimize operations. Identify and implement AI tools that can automate routine tasks, analyze large datasets, and provide actionable insights.
  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline sourcing processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall effectiveness of the procurement function. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Develop strategies for risk management, and performance evaluation to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure sourcing strategies are aligned with business needs and objectives.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new sourcing processes and technologies. Provide training and support to the sourcing team and other stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and AI to identify trends, assess risks, and make informed decisions. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sourcing initiatives.
