About The Position

This role supports BCD M&E’s Technology-focused client opportunities by shaping smart, scalable solutions across proprietary platforms, third-party tools, AI, automation, and analytics. The Director, Solutions Consulting will partner across sales, account management, marketing, operations, and technology teams to connect client goals with real business value. It is a high-impact role for someone who can move easily between strategy, storytelling, and solution design.

Requirements

Experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, technology consulting, or a similar client-facing role with strong technology themes
Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, and reporting tools and how they can improve performance and customer outcomes
A commercial mindset that connects solution recommendations to growth, efficiency, and measurable value
Foundational knowledge of agency planning support, including strategic meetings management, venue sourcing, event planning, and registration technologies
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Translating business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
Leading client-facing discovery sessions, presentations, demos, and proposal support with confidence and clarity
Explaining technical capabilities in business-friendly language and tailoring recommendations to client goals, budget, and timelines
Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, account management, marketing, operations, and technology teams to drive alignment and results
Navigating ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and bringing structure to complex opportunities
