About The Position

Sprinklr is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Solutions Architecture to lead our solutions architecture function and drive the design of innovative, scalable, and customer-centric technical solutions. This executive leadership role bridges business strategy, sales/pre-sales, and engineering teams, ensuring that our technical offerings align with customer needs, industry best practices, and long-term company objectives. The Director will oversee a high-performing team of solutions architects, shape enterprise-grade reference architectures, guide complex deal pursuits, and influence product roadmap decisions based on real-world customer requirements and emerging technologies (cloud platforms, AI/ML, security, data architectures, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree strongly preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in IT/technology, with at least 3-5 years in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical pre-sales leadership roles
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, large-scale solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or multi-cloud)
  • Experience in SaaS, AI/ML platforms, Marketing Transformations, and/or CCaas solutions
  • Familiarity with modern observability, security architecture (zero-trust), and emerging technologies (GenAI integration, edge computing)
  • Deep expertise in modern architecture patterns: microservices, serverless, event-driven, data platforms, security & compliance frameworks
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — ability to confidently engage with C-level executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success leading technical components of multi-million-dollar deals and high-stakes POCs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects, fostering technical excellence, career development, and a collaborative culture
  • Define and evolve the organization's solutions architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices
  • Partner closely with sales, account executives, product management, and engineering to shape and win strategic opportunities, especially large/enterprise deals
  • Own the technical response and solution vision during complex RFPs, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and customer workshops
  • Translate complex business requirements into feasible, high-quality technical architectures that balance innovation, scalability, security, cost, performance, and time-to-value
  • Provide executive-level technical leadership to customers (C-level, architects, engineers), articulating solution value, trade-offs, and future-state vision
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to influence platform roadmap, identify architectural gaps, and drive platform improvements based on field learnings
  • Stay ahead of industry trends (cloud-native, AI-driven architectures, multi-cloud/hybrid strategies, APIs, etc.) and ensure the team remains technically current
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer executive briefings as a trusted technical authority
