About The Position

The role leads account management teams that support single employer retirement plan sponsors, advisors, and third‑party administrators. The position focuses on driving strong client relationships, developing service strategies, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention within the large plan market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Ten years of experience in the retirement industry, including leadership of client‑facing account management teams and oversight of single employer plan relationships
  • Expert knowledge of financial analytics, service metrics, and quality indicators
  • Leadership skills to manage complex relationships, empower teams, and drive accountability
  • Critical thinking and decision‑making skills to manage multiple projects
  • Communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Adaptable to change and able to lead others through change processes
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Design service models that establish metrics, quality indicators, and service standards to achieve high customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Oversee client relationships within assigned single employer plan accounts.
  • Maintain strong client loyalty and retention through consistent and proactive relationship management.
  • Achieve measurable objectives for profitability, client satisfaction, and retention.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and intermediaries to support satisfaction and long‑term engagement.
  • Ensure compliance standards are sustained across the team.
  • Develop service and retention strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive new business acceptance, client repricing, and fee waiver processes.
  • Set department and team goals and priorities.
  • May support firm‑wide initiatives or cross‑functional projects as needed.
