Department Summary – Global Team This role operates within a global structure, supporting both the Product Business Line (PBL) and the Service Business Line (SBL) . It is a unique cross-functional position bridging product development, sales, engineering, service execution, and business strategy for FLS’s global operations. Collaboration spans North America, the U.S. Repair Business, global engineering teams, supply chain, and regional commercial leaders. Role Summary This role is a dual-function position supporting: PBL – Global Product Line Management (Screens) – North America , and SBL – Repair Business – U.S. (Winfield Service Center) . The role drives product development, sales acceleration, value-based pricing, engineering alignment, service offering standardization, customer support, and proposal leadership. It supports both capital equipment growth (new and replacement screens) and service business expansion (exchange programs, repair offerings, engineered solutions). This is a strategic position designed to influence portfolio direction, strengthen the U.S. service footprint, and directly contribute to global business performance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Technical Business, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, service management, proposals, aftermarket business, or capital equipment sales, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of screen technology, service center operations, or rotating equipment is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional global teams (engineering, sales, supply chain, product line).
  • Experience with value-based pricing, cost optimization, or design-to-cost initiatives.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret customer demand and market trends.
  • Excellent English communication skills: additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within North America and globally as required.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Actively drive sales for new screens and brownfield replacements in the North American market.
  • Lead portfolio development efforts to ensure the screens product line remains competitive and aligned with customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage customer-driven demand and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Drive value-based pricing strategies and support design-to-cost initiatives, including supply chain optimization.
  • Gather customer and market insights, translating them into solution concepts, product improvements, and business opportunities.
  • Lead and standardize proposal development following the global SC blueprint.
  • Drive sales activities in close alignment with regional sales teams.
  • Promote standardized service offerings, particularly repair solutions and exchange programs.
  • Ensure proactive, efficient, and high-quality customer support throughout the service lifecycle.
  • Support design adjustments to meet evolving market and customer demands.
  • Ensure engineering support to optimize design for efficient, cost-effective production and repair processes.
