About The Position

Angi is seeking a strategic, data-driven Director of Sales Operations to lead Revenue Operations during an exciting growth phase. This role is crucial for optimizing the sales prospect database, tools, and processes to drive profitable revenue growth by supporting sales, retention, and upselling of pros. The position also offers the opportunity to reshape the sales motion with an AI-first mindset. Reporting to the VP of Sales Ops, the Director will own the strategic roadmap for the revenue engine, including sales database enhancement, pipeline visibility, CRM integrity, and providing insights for executive decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to frame key decisions, identify dependencies, and ensure resource allocation to high-ROI efforts. It's a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone adept at spreadsheets, executive strategy discussions, and Salesforce workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience leading implementation of Revenue Operations tools, including enrichment and orchestration tools such as Apollo, Zoominfo, Clay, Gong.
  • Strong Salesforce administration skills; Salesforce Admin certification is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (Looker, or similar).
  • Proven experience owning database hygiene and data governance at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company ($50M–$500M ARR).

Responsibilities

  • Drive efforts to increase the value and integrity of the customer and prospect database, including enrichment, segmentation, deduplication, and hierarchy, in partnership with third-party vendors and the internal Data Science team.
  • Refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) using enhanced segmentation data and architect orchestration rules to optimize sales, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards across the sales organization.
  • Shape the Sales Ops strategic roadmap in partnership with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Structure and implement testing to validate and scale strategic initiatives.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the sales motion and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Own sales pipeline and performance reporting across the full revenue funnel, providing real-time insight into pipeline health and proactively addressing issues.
  • Periodically update leadership on KPI trends and pipeline health.
  • Manage the team responsible for Salesforce administration, ensuring data quality, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage the broader sales tech stack, including procurement, integrations, and user adoption (e.g., Outreach, Gong, Clari, ZoomInfo).
  • Partner with RevOps and Engineering to automate manual workflows and scale tooling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for AI, Data Science, and Product stakeholders to transform the role of sales reps with AI tools.
  • Increase adoption of AI agents and tools for manual tasks to free up team capacity for higher-value efforts.
  • Develop, manage, and potentially expand the Sales Ops team (starting with 2 direct reports).
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product.
  • Maintain team focus on highest value levers and shape a culture of data-driven iteration to improve the status quo.
