About The Position

The Director's Office Intern will assist in the development and execution of various strategic initiatives. This role involves supporting the Director, Chief Curator, and Chief of Staff on projects such as institutional history and artist research, drafting internal correspondence, creating presentations, providing administrative and logistical support, and conducting other assigned research. This internship is ideal for individuals seeking to understand the administrative and strategic planning aspects of nonprofit organizational management and external affairs. It is important to note that this is not a curatorial position, but it is well-suited for those considering careers in arts administration. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required, along with excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Must be a college sophomore, junior, senior, recent graduate, or graduate student.
  • Must work in-person three days of the week, with Tuesdays mandatory.
  • Must attend an in-person orientation day on January 11, 2027.
