About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an accomplished Director (RN) – Case Management to lead hospital case management operations for a respected healthcare organization in Missoula, Montana. This senior leadership role is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse who understands the critical connection between effective case management, coordinated patient care, resource utilization, and successful transitions across the continuum of care. As Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the case management function while developing a strong team and collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, social services, and other hospital departments. Offering a competitive salary of $112,000 – $130,000 annually, this is an excellent opportunity for a proven hospital case management leader to influence department performance, strengthen care coordination, and contribute to better outcomes for patients and the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain Montana RN licensure.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience within hospital Case Management.
  • Strong understanding of hospital case management operations, care coordination, discharge planning, utilization management, and transitions of care.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams in a hospital environment.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical leadership, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive leadership experience within hospital Case Management.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or related graduate degree.
  • Experience directing or overseeing hospital-wide case management programs and teams.
  • Demonstrated success improving case management workflows, departmental performance, and patient transitions.
  • Experience supporting utilization management, regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and operational improvement.
