About The Position

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. This position leads the organization's safety risk management, compliance, and internal controls programs. This role is responsible for identifying and mitigating safety risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening governance processes, and driving a culture of safety across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
10+ years of experience in safety, risk management, compliance, or internal controls.
5+ years of leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and control frameworks.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (CSP, CRM, CIA, CRISC, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee enterprise safety risk and controls frameworks.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and workplace safety risks.
Monitor compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Lead safety audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action programs.
Establish safety metrics, risk indicators, and executive reporting.
Partner with business leaders to improve safety performance and risk management practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture.
Lead and develop a team of safety, risk, and controls professionals.
