About The Position

As a Field Operations Director at OpenText, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our SMBC business globally. This position goes beyond traditional sales operations by partnering closely with senior sales leadership to influence planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and business performance. You will help shape strategic decisions, improve sales productivity, and provide the insights needed to support growth across a complex, global organization. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on how OpenText scales, executes, and delivers results across international markets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • cybersecurity industry experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual planning activities, including financial planning, resource allocation, territory design, and quota setting
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive forecast accuracy, business cadence, and quarterly execution
  • Manage and analyze pipeline health to ensure sufficient coverage for future growth
  • Deliver business insights and reporting to support quarterly business reviews, growth initiatives, and executive decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR, and other support teams to drive operational excellence
  • Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies across the business
  • Build strong partnerships across a global, matrixed organization while supporting a fast-paced and evolving business environment
