About The Position

Scotland Health Care System is seeking a dedicated Director, Revenue Cycle to lead operations, programs, and activities related to Patient Financial Services (PFS). This role oversees essential business office functions, including billing, collections, cash posting, scheduling, registrations, and accounts receivable management. The Director will investigate and address inefficiencies, coordinate with other departments for accurate billing, and manage cash to ensure financial health is accurately reflected. This position involves analyzing data, preparing reports, ensuring timely processing of Charity Care and Bad Debt, and driving continuous improvement within PFS. The Director must maintain in-depth knowledge of and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Excellent customer service and professionalism are expected in all interactions. The role also includes contributing to the organization's success by adhering to standards, expectations, and core values, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Directs, administers and sets policies for all operations, programs and activities related to PFS.
Oversees the timely completion of all essential business office function, including billing, collections, cash posting, scheduling, registrations, and accounts receivable management.
Investigates and addresses inefficiencies.
Coordinates with leaders in other departments, such as medical records, coding, CDI and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Oversees cash management areas to ensure the organization financial health is accurately reflected in reconciliation, cash flow and cash posting reports.
Analyzes data and prepare reports on collections performance, payer reimbursement, and preventable write offs.
Ensures timely Charity Care and Bad Debt Processing.
Drives continuous improvement in Revenue Cycle by identifying and implementing strategic goals within PFS.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of and ensures compliance with regulations and standards issued by applicable governmental/regulatory agencies or third parties.
Executes excellent customer service and professionalism when interacting with staff, vendor, payers, patients and their families to ensure all are treated with kindness and respect.
Contributes to the success of the organization by complying with all standards, expectations and core values.
Ensures timely Charity Care and Bad Debt processing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
