About The Position

This role is responsible for driving revenue cycle management performance across the organization. The Director will develop and execute a strategic roadmap focused on efficiency, quality, and financial performance. Key responsibilities include leading and facilitating revenue cycle meetings, partnering with multidisciplinary teams and third-party vendors to achieve improvement goals, and promoting an inclusive culture by sharing best practices. The position also involves serving as a change agent, eliminating process inefficiencies, enhancing customer satisfaction, and adapting to changing priorities. Additionally, the role requires establishing trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders, preparing executive-level presentations, and staying current on industry trends. The role emphasizes change management, performance improvement, and client-facing relationship management. The Director will be expected to motivate stakeholders, deliver measurable improvements through continuous improvement methodologies, and adapt quickly to scope, priority, and timeline changes while maintaining focus on business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, project management, and/or people management.
  • Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management systems and software.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business results through change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build effective, collaborative relationships across departments and stakeholders.

  • Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management systems and software preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue cycle management performance across.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap focused on efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
  • Lead and facilitate revenue cycle meetings, including denials management sessions.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams—including hospital and national leadership, as well as third party vendors—to achieve revenue cycle improvement goals.
  • Promote an inclusive culture by identifying, sharing, and implementing best practices across process and operations teams.
  • Deliver measurable improvements and financial benefits through continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Serve as a change agent, clearly communicating and embedding continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Eliminate process inefficiencies and strive to enhance customer satisfaction using proven tools and methodologies.
  • Adapt quickly to scope, priority, and timeline changes while maintaining focus on business performance.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
