About The Position

The Director of Released Product Engineering is responsible for managing manufacturing engineering and project management activities. Your role: Develop and lead governance of released products, driving functional alignment and prioritization of programs and projects in the released product portfolio. Lead end-to-end operations interface between the business, operations, and supply chain, acting as a liaison between them. Manage a team of operations members/program managers to partner with operations/supply chain to ensure released product projects are completed on time and on budget. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across various functions to resolve conflicting goals and prioritize driving optimal business solutions. Develop and execute plant network optimization of existing products as well as manufacturing transfers and scale-up of new products, supplier changes, vertical integration and leading make vs. buy analysis.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 6+ years of experience with a Master’s in areas such as Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production Engineering or Cost Engineering or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience preferred.
  • Master’s in engineering or business administration preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma Certification or Design for Reliability and Manufacturability Certification also preferred.
