SunStrong Management is building out its regulatory response and examination management function to support a growing national portfolio. This role owns it. SunStrong Management operates across a national footprint, which means a continuous flow of inquiries, examinations, and information requests from state regulators, federal agencies, investors, and quasi-governmental entities. Each arrives with its own scope, requirements, and timeline. The Director of Regulatory Response and Examination Management designs that function and runs it. This is an opportunity to shape a regulatory response operation at real scale, with executive visibility and the authority to set how it works. The person in this seat is accountable for driving matters to resolution, not for reporting status. Success is measured by items closed, deadlines met without escalation, and a process that holds up under examination. Position Summary The Director, Regulatory Response and Examination Management leads the organization's response to regulatory inquiries, audits, examinations, and enforcement matters affecting its solar asset management operations and underlying project portfolios. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between the company, its regulators, and internal stakeholders during examinations conducted by state public utility commissions, FERC, ISOs/RTOs, tax authorities, environmental agencies, and investor/lender compliance reviews. The Director builds and manages the frameworks, processes, and teams needed to respond accurately, efficiently, and defensibly to regulatory requests while minimizing operational and financial risk.
