At Teach For America, we know that leadership is the most powerful lever for change. In North Carolina, we are cultivating a community of extraordinary leaders—beginning with our corps members and extending to our 2,300+ alumni—who are deeply committed to ensuring that every child has access to an excellent education and the opportunity to thrive. As a member of the Alumni Impact team, you will contribute to the experience, learning, and impact of TFA alumni living throughout the state. Your unique role will be to manage alumni event operations and communications strategies, as well as maintain strong alumni data systems, in support of a thriving alumni network. The Director of Regional Impact will serve as an external leader responsible for cultivating strategic community partnerships that amplify our mission. Reporting to the Chief External Affairs Officer, this role will develop and execute comprehensive strategies that accelerate progress toward our 2030 goal. To achieve all of this, you thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting, have a proven ability to set and execute a localized strategy in alignment with a collective local vision and inspire, influence and galvanize others in support of that vision and strategy. You operate with a high level of personal responsibility and optimism and excel at achieving outcomes both independently and through partnering with others to reach those goals. You are big-picture oriented but obsessive about the details. You have a demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships, and to cultivate internal and external coalitions. You are passionate about your contribution to educational excellence in North Carolina.
