As a Director of Quantitative UX Research and AI Enablement, you’ll lead Target’s enterprise UX quantitative research strategy, experience measurement, and responsible AI-enabled research. This leader will set the strategy for the function, guide the team’s day-to-day work, and lead major initiatives and core programs that advance Target’s goals. You’ll shape how Target learns through UX metrics, benchmarking, longitudinal voice-of-the-user programs, user panels, survey research, experimentation, and behavioral analysis, translating those insights into product and business decisions. You’ll also partner with internal teams and vendors to bring these programs to life using the right tools and platforms. Success for this leader requires strong partnership with UX, product, technology, analytics, business, and insight partners to establish direction, align on priorities, and build trust in the work. You’ll set responsible AI guidance and standards so research is structured, reusable, discoverable, and ready to support AI-enabled workflows, including agents and synthetic users. As an experienced people leader, you will coach and develop a team of five researchers supporting priority product areas through embedded partnership, quantitative research, and early-stage human-centered design, while strengthening rigor, speed, and impact.
