About The Position

At Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, we are helping to create brighter, healthier futures for our patients and their families. We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community. Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We are passionate about our work and are looking for individuals who share in this passion. We are currently seeking a Director of Process Improvement/Risk Management to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidates will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with patients, staff, families, providers, etc., must work well under pressure with several competing priorities and maintain professionalism at all times. Director, Quality Assurance & Process Improvement The Director of Quality Assurance & Process Improvement is a liaison to department directors, administration and medical staff to ensure the provision of quality care is monitored and continuously improved. Develops and implements strategic plans for quality improvement functions and promotes a comprehensive culture of quality throughout the facility. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in Old Vineyard's Mission.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Healthcare Administration or graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with MSN preferred.
  • Three (3) years' of clinical experience with psychiatric mental health population.
  • Previous management and training facilitation experience required.
  • Current LCSW or RN, as applicable
  • Current North Carolina Driver's License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the application of advanced quality tools and methodologies, regulatory standards established by The Joint Commission and CMS standards applicable to acute care hospitals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data collection, aggregation, statistical analysis, and use of statistical display tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of techniques and methods of adult learning.
  • Strong facilitation skills with proven ability in leading and facilitating teams to desired outcomes.
  • Effective interpersonal skills necessary to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and communicate, facilitate, and negotiate with a wide variety of healthcare personnel and external constituents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage by influence in a consultative role.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise appropriate action and good business judgement.
  • Demonstrates the ability to execute strategies based on hospital priorities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups toward the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, integrity and diplomacy.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database systems.

  • Six Sigma certification preferred.
