Northeast Arc is seeking a Quality Improvement Director to lead strategic initiatives that ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and uphold the highest standards of care and service. This role is pivotal in advancing our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Plan (QAPI), overseeing risk management, and serving as the HIPAA Privacy Officer. About the Role: Location: Danvers, MA Pay Range: $90,000-110,000 annual Division: Quality Improvement Reports to: Chief Quality Improvement Officer Supervises: Quality Improvement Specialist

  • Develop and implement metrics and performance targets to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives that support accreditation, licensing, and certification.
  • Serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer, managing privacy programs, policies, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enforce standards, measure outcomes, and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, and compliance with human rights mandates.
  • Chair committees and deliver training programs to support agency standards.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and optimize outcomes.
  • Bachelors degree in human services or business/public administration.
  • Minimum 5 years in quality/performance improvement and 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (CMS, DPH, DDS, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across divisions and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.
