About The Position

Verve is seeking an experienced publisher development professional to create and expand new strategic partnerships with the biggest and best online publishers. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience selling to major publishers and a deep understanding of the industry. Verve has created a more efficient and privacy-focused way to buy and monetize advertising. Verve is an ecosystem of demand and supply technologies fusing data, media, and technology together to deliver results and growth to both advertisers and publishers. Verve For Advertisers is a technology company that empowers brands and agencies to connect moments of discovery and drive measurable outcomes across screens. As part of Verve, we've unified the company's demand-side offering, bringing together the largest on-site search intent dataset outside of walled gardens, direct SDK integrations with top apps, alongside data partnerships with 3M+ websites and LLMs. Our technology captures both what consumers do and why they do it, delivering high-fidelity audiences, insights, and activation across premium omnichannel inventory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of publisher data partnerships experience
  • Existing relationships within premium publishers and experience building solutions together
  • Experience initiating and managing relationships with strategic partners, including at the senior level
  • Ability to articulate a compelling vision for how publishers can maximize first-party data value, future-proof their tech infrastructure, and grow direct revenue
  • Stay current on key AdTech industry trends, especially those relating to identity and addressability
  • Comfortable leading technical and data-focused conversations with both partners and internal teams
  • Solid understanding of US data privacy regulations
  • Build excellent rapport with internal and external stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, adapting your style to your audience
  • Excel in fast-paced environments and bring a high level of attention to detail to everything you do

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage potential new partners through targeted outreach
  • Apply a consultative, solution-selling approach to uncover partner challenges and position our data and solutions as the answer
  • Identify innovative business development opportunities and translate them into actionable partnership strategies
  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with existing partners to drive retention and growth
  • Act as a key contributor within the global partnerships team, fostering alignment and knowledge-sharing across markets
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and insights teams to identify and prioritize the data needs of your market
  • Lead initial partner discovery conversations to assess technology fit, provide guidance on integration or issues, and loop in Solutions Engineering at the appropriate stage
