About The Position

A Director for Proposals and Contracts partners with Sales, Operations, and Finance regarding generation of sales proposals and contracts, and with Senior Management for development and legal review of other non-sales contracts. A Director for Proposals and Contracts will oversee the development of proposals, contractual documents, and other business deliverables as required, including internal collaboration, preparation, review, and delivery to existing and prospective clients, and will ensure all final contracts and related documents are submitted to the appropriate business owner or stakeholder for final approval. The Director, Proposals and Contracts will participate in diligence and integration activities as it pertains to proposals and contracts providing feedback and guidance to the executive leadership team and others as applicable. Requirements

10 years of proposal/contract administration experience required
At least 5 years of management experience required
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply legal concepts to contracts required
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and assimilate the detail of project requirements
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Ability to learn new systems as required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Interpersonal skills for interfacing and serving as a consultative partner with internal and external customers

Nice To Haves

Undergraduate degree in business, science, finance/accounting, or related field preferred
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space or clinical research organization environment is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee the development of proposals, contractual documents, and other business deliverables as required, including internal collaboration, preparation, review, and delivery to existing and prospective clients.
