About The Position

The Director of Project Management provides leadership and oversight for the project management function within the digital marketing organization. This role is focused on operational excellence: developing scalable processes, overseeing complex cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. The Director acts as both a leader of people and a builder of systems, establishing best practices and driving continuous improvement in project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of progressive experience in project management, including leadership of teams.
Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects at scale.
Deep expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Advanced project management certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the project management team, including Sr. PMs, PMs, and Coordinators.
Oversee execution of complex, high-visibility projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Develop, implement, and refine project management methodologies, tools, and workflows.
Ensure consistent standards of quality, efficiency, and risk management across all projects.
Partner with leadership to forecast resource needs and allocate appropriately.
Support cross-departmental collaboration to drive operational efficiency.
Mentor and develop project management staff, creating clear career pathways and professional growth opportunities.
Contribute to long-term strategic planning, particularly around project delivery and process optimization.
