About The Position

The Director, Project Engineering – Americas leads the Americas engineering organization and owns the technical design and implementation of Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), SCADA, Power Plant Controllers (PPC), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and site networking for solar, energy storage, and hybrid projects across BTM and FTM, C&I, and utility-scale work. The role ensures engineering deliverables are technically correct, standardized, on time, and within budget, while scaling the organization through reusable designs and repeatable workflows. This position is the engineering counterpart to the Director of PMO, who owns schedule, scope, and customer delivery. The Director, Project Engineering owns technical design, engineering quality, and standards, and works with the PMO as part of the Americas delivery leadership team. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with organizational management and development. The role has direct reports based in Broomfield, Colorado: the Manager, Drafting & Design; the Manager, Project Engineering – C&I; and the Manager, Project Engineering – Utility. Key partners without a direct reporting line include Sales, Technical Sales Engineering, PMO, Field Services, Support, and Project Delivery – EMEA. The position is based in Broomfield, CO, with a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days per week in the office and 10–20% travel.
