About The Position

The Program Management Excellence (PMX) team within the Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business segment is looking for an experienced Proposal and Program Manager well-versed in People, Process, and Tools best practices within the Aerospace and Defense Industry to serve as the Director of PMX Proposal and Program Support. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning PMX resources with supporting segment and corporate priority proposals, Tier 1 program execution, and adherence to SAS and corporate policy and process standards. The successful candidate will also work effectively with the other members of the PMX staff, functional partners, and the corporate office on priority initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance

  • Ownership of SAS Earned Value System Description (SD)
  • Earned Value processes and monthly business cadence
  • Training delivery
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) audits
  • Corporate policy audits
  • Priority initiatives and special projects
