About The Position

Reporting to the VP, Mission, we are hiring a Director, Program Delivery on a 6-month contract. As the new Director, Program Delivery, you will lead the execution and evolution of Parkinson Canada’s national programs, bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to how services are delivered. You will lead a team of managers, collaborate across functions, and ensure programs are accessible, high-quality, and aligned to community needs. This is a critical role in scaling our reach from approximately 5,000 people today to 50,000 in the coming years, and an opportunity to shape how this function evolves. This is an existing remote vacancy with occasional travel as needed for in person meetings.

Requirements

  • You have led programs or services that involve people—often across multiple teams, stakeholders, or locations. You understand how to bring structure to complex environments and deliver consistent outcomes at scale.
  • You have experience aligning groups with different priorities to a shared goal and moving forward with a clear plan. You bring clarity, build strong teams, and execute.
  • You translate strategy into action. You know what a strong plan looks like, how to resource it, and how to adapt as things evolve—pivoting when needed without losing momentum.
  • You thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments where not everything is defined on day one. You are comfortable shifting priorities, working across structures, and engaging in person when needed to support collaboration and delivery.
  • You are a clear, pragmatic communicator who brings people along. You align stakeholders, set expectations, and create accountability, ensuring everyone understands the plan and their role in delivering it.
  • You may come from healthcare, education, social impact, or another sector entirely. Experience in non-profit is not required. We welcome candidates with international or non-traditional backgrounds, including those who have led programs in global or field-based environments.
  • All applicants are advised that offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and references.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program delivery and scale impact. You will oversee national programs, ensuring they are structured, consistent, and able to scale. You will translate reach and impact goals into clear plans, resourcing, and execution to support growth from 5,000 to 50,000 people across Canada.
  • Bring structure to how programs operate. You will standardize and evolve program models, including support groups and services, creating frameworks that improve accessibility, consistency, and quality without losing the human connection.
  • Lead and develop your team. You will manage and coach program managers, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of strong execution and continuous improvement.
  • Balance innovation with delivery. You will lead program innovation efforts, testing and scaling new approaches to reach underserved communities and improve access, while ensuring day-to-day delivery remains strong.
  • Use data to inform decisions. You will monitor program performance, including reach, utilization, and quality, using insights and feedback to refine programs and guide ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate across the organization. You will work closely with partnerships, insights, and mission teams to align delivery with strategy and ensure programs are connected to broader organizational priorities.
  • Ensure programs stay relevant and impactful. You will maintain a clear link between strategy and execution, using community feedback, data, and frontline insight to evolve programs and meet the needs of people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners.

  • Salary is between $110,000 - $130,000 per annum.
  • Compensation should be fair and supportive of your experience and growth.
  • Rates may vary within the same role based on performance, specialized knowledge, and impact.
  • Transparency and open conversations about compensation.
