About The Position

As Product Marketing Director you will help drive and promote Oversight’s leadership on the Finance & Accounting AI/analytics landscape.  This role will go beyond traditional communications, focusing on in-depth market analysis and buyer understanding to develop  winning go-to-market programs and proof points that resonate with prospective buyers.  The Product Marketing Director has responsibility for bringing Oversight’s leading AI technology and client outcomes to life, partnering with internal and external teams to translate data into tangible marketing strategies that engage buyers and stimulate growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7 to 10 years proven experience in product marketing, ideally with a focus on AI technology and financial software products.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions on product positioning, messaging, and feature prioritization.
  • Buyer Persona Development:
  • Collaborate with the product team to create detailed buyer personas based on customer interviews and market research.
  • Use buyer personas to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product updates.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, and marketing to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Messaging and Positioning:
  • Craft compelling and differentiated messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful communication across all marketing channels.
  • Sales Enablement:
  • Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and training to effectively communicate the value proposition of the product.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to understand feedback from the field and refine messaging accordingly.
  • Competitive Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge and address market challenges.
  • Product Launches:
  • Plan and execute successful product launches, including coordinating marketing activities, creating collateral, and managing communication plans.
  • Customer Feedback:
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future marketing opportunities.
  • Work closely with customer success teams to understand customer concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
