About The Position

Zillow is seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Director of Product Marketing to lead the product marketing function within Agent Marketing. Reporting to the VP of Agent Marketing, this leader will define the positioning, segmentation, pricing strategy, and go-to-market frameworks that power agent acquisition, engagement, and long-term growth. This role is central to strengthening Zillow’s value proposition to real estate agents. You will translate deep understanding of agent workflows, competitive dynamics, and marketplace trends into differentiated messaging and scalable commercialization strategies. You will partner closely with Product to shape roadmap priorities and with Demand, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure effective execution. The Director will build and lead a high-performing team responsible for portfolio strategy, launch excellence, and lifecycle optimization, ensuring our agent solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and support Zillow’s broader marketplace advantage.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product or product marketing leadership roles.
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience, including management of senior-level talent.
  • Demonstrated ownership of multi-year strategy and revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Experience in B2B, marketplace, SaaS, or platform-based environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong financial and analytical acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Zillow’s agent-facing portfolio, driving clear differentiation and compelling positioning that resonates with real estate agents.
  • Develop scalable messaging and value proposition frameworks across the agent lifecycle—from acquisition and adoption to retention and expansion—grounded in deep agent insights, competitive intelligence, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Finance on pricing and packaging strategy, aligning value realization with willingness to pay and long-term revenue growth.
  • Represent product marketing strategy, trade-offs, and performance results to executive stakeholders.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Field, and Brand leaders to ensure alignment between positioning and campaign strategy.
  • Synthesize sales insights, customer feedback, and market data to shape product roadmap priorities while defining and evolving agent personas and segmentation to inform targeted strategies.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Product Marketers, establishing strong operating rhythms and accountability standards.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, customer empathy, and cross-functional collaboration that strengthens Zillow’s marketplace advantage.
