About The Position

Bloomberg Media is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead the commercialization of its core advertising portfolio. This role reports to the Global Head of Product Marketing and is responsible for the positioning, launch, and adoption of these products by advertisers, agencies, and global sales teams. This is an individual-contributor role that requires the ability to transition between strategy and execution, influencing positioning and pricing, differentiating media products in a dynamic advertising market, and creating materials for sales and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated positioning and messaging for video, display, audio, newsletters, and print, translating product capabilities into buyer-relevant value propositions.
  • Own product marketing strategy for product launches and major enhancements, including defining target customers, value propositions, proof points, and sales-readiness requirements.
  • Partner with regional teams to adapt global narratives to local markets.
  • Influence the product roadmap and major enhancements by providing market and customer insights.
  • Identify portfolio growth opportunities based on buyer behavior, competitive changes, and product performance.
  • Advise senior Sales/Product leadership on evolving agency and advertiser buying behavior.
  • Develop sales enablement materials such as one-sheets, launch decks, battlecards, and FAQs, and lead training sessions.
  • Provide clear guidance on product fit by objective, category, and campaign strategy to assist sellers and clients.
  • Track the competitive landscape in premium publishing and media, and translate insights into positioning and objection-handling guidance.
  • Partner with campaign planning and measurement teams to build credible proof points and support case study development.
  • Refine product messaging and market penetration strategy using adoption data and competitive perspectives.
  • Build infrastructure for systematically gathering and leveraging seller, client, and agency insights and feedback for core-media product priorities, optimizations, and sunsetting decisions.
  • Contribute customer, competitive, and market perspectives to pricing and packaging discussions led by Yield, and translate approved decisions into clear sales narratives.
