Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Director, Product Management to join our team! The Director, Product Management is responsible for defining product strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle and leading the product team to identify and solve member needs through differentiated products and market positioning. This leadership role drives cross-functional collaboration between Business, Technology, Finance, Risk and Marketing, with a focus on championing design thinking principles, fostering a culture of experimentation, and translating consumer insights into compelling value propositions and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SAFe Agile Product Manager (APM)
  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, preferably in an agile environment
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-centric digital products at scale
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and change leadership capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate clear product strategies aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand member behaviors and pain points
  • Translate member insights, competitive intelligence, and regulatory requirements into an actionable product roadmap
  • Lead cross-functional journey mapping to identify opportunities for differentiated solutions and enhanced member satisfaction
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and continuous optimization
  • Champion rapid prototyping and experimentation to validate product market fit
  • Define success metrics and ensure products deliver strategic outcomes
  • Define clear, differentiated product positioning and value propositions
  • Guide product marketing and campaign strategies to support production targets
  • Streamline the product experience and oversee product education in partnership with Learning & Development
  • Regularly meeting with each team member to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs.
  • Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed.
  • Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union.
  • Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels.
  • Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization.
