Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Etch system engineering or process engineering, with deep knowledge of hardware‑process interactions and on‑wafer performance metrics.
  • 15+ years of total experience in semiconductor equipment process technology, products, and/or services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Proven expertise in resolving highly complex technical problems through analytical thought, methodical approaches, and disciplined knowledge capture.
  • Strong track record of establishing and maintaining technical knowledge bases that enable scalable, rapid problem‑solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior management and adapt messaging to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FabVantage Etch Community of Practice (CoP), driving alignment, capability development, and collaboration.
  • Facilitate regular CoP meetings focused on joint problem‑solving and knowledge sharing.
  • Document and maintain case studies for completed projects to support organizational learning.
  • Update and manage critical issue fishbones, OCAPs, and troubleshooting flowcharts.
  • Integrate all relevant learnings into designated knowledge bases to support global access and scaling.
  • Collaborate with SBUs to enhance engineering capabilities and incorporate FabVantage learnings into service products.
  • Influence teams across Applied Global Services (AGS) and Semiconductor Products Group (SPG) functions to ensure effective execution within a matrixed environment.
  • Lead the resolution of complex or unusual technical issues using advanced analytical and structured methodologies.
  • Establish and curate foundational technical knowledge to accelerate problem‑solving across the worldwide installed base.
  • Engage with senior‑level internal and external stakeholders, effectively negotiating and influencing decisions.
  • Communicate with sensitivity to diverse audiences, ensuring clear alignment and shared understanding.
