About The Position

The Private Label Sales Leader is a key commercial driver within Garmon Supplements' private label business unit. This individual is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing sales function that delivers customized supplement solutions to retail, e-commerce, and wholesale partners. The Private Label Sales Leader will own the full sales cycle: from prospect identification and pipeline management through contract negotiation, account onboarding, and revenue retention. The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented executive who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, excels at building customer trust and long-term partnerships, and has a proven record of acquiring new customers, expanding strategic accounts, and delivering revenue growth through complex, cross-functional private label partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, food & beverage, or consumer health industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a private label, contract manufacturing, or OEM sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the supplement manufacturing process, including formulation, labeling, regulatory (FDA/GMP), and packaging.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level proficiency in retail analytics & insights.
  • High level proficiency in syndicated data.
  • High level proficiency in retail economics.
  • High level proficiency in supply chain management.
  • High level proficiency in trade marketing.
  • High level proficiency in financial acumen and trade fund management.
  • Highly proficient in forecasting and a proven track record of customer business planning strategy, process, and thought leadership.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications.
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel (includes overnight travel).
  • Existing network of private label buyers, retail category managers, or brand owners in the Pet and/or Pet Supplement space.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or in a vertically integrated supplement company.
  • Ability to travel as required using various modes of transportation, including air and ground travel; must possess or be able to obtain appropriate travel identification.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of a background check, which may include criminal history, credit, drug screening, and motor vehicle records.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a private label sales strategy aligned with Garmon Supplements' annual revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new private label partnerships across retail chains, independent retailers, e-commerce brands, and health & wellness distributors.
  • Own and manage a qualified pipeline; consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine positioning and sales tactics.
  • Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for strategic private label accounts.
  • Ensure smooth client onboarding in coordination with operations, regulatory, quality and Marketing teams.
  • Proactively manage account health, renewals, and upsell opportunities to maximize lifetime customer value.
  • Resolve escalated client issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Partner with product development and R&D teams to translate client needs into viable supplement formulations.
  • Work with marketing to develop private label sales materials, case studies, and co-branded assets.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to deliver accurate lead times, pricing, and capacity commitments to clients.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting to senior leadership.
