About The Position

As a Director on IQ-EQ’s fund administration team, you will work directly with leading private equity clients, supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications. You will oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations and financials, manage audits, train junior staff, and drive process improvements across multiple engagements. The role includes leading relationships across multiple private equity funds and applying knowledge of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.

Requirements

Over 10 years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of both within alternative asset firms.
Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration.
At least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Exceptional client service skills and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Expertise supporting complex fund operations and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead client relationships across multiple private equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed.
Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
Prepare and review journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
Manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews.
Improve operational processes across multiple engagements.
Prioritize tasks and respond to client requests.
Train junior team members to support team development and efficiency.
Oversee client deliverables and review complex fund calculations and financials.
