The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and mission-driven Director, Principal & Major Gifts to join the Alumni Relations & Resource Development (ARRD) office. This role operates within an entrepreneurial and dynamic School environment, collaborating closely with faculty, senior administration, and University officials. The Director will independently manage a portfolio of prospects, focusing on securing gifts of $500k+, with a particular emphasis on international prospects and donors. The primary goal is to secure funding for School priorities, lead strategies for assigned regions and projects, and achieve activity and revenue goals. This involves identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a mixed portfolio of domestic and international principal and major gift prospects. The Director will also partner with faculty and staff at the School's research centers to embed fundraising best practices and identify donor cultivation/solicitation opportunities.
