The Director, Post Sales Engineering reports to the Senior Director, Post Sales Engineering and is responsible for defining, building, and leading the Post Sales Engineering team in alignment with the regional and industry direction. The Director, Post Sales Engineering must be highly organized, detail oriented, dedicated to the creation of quality services and appreciate the need for continuous process improvement by challenging the status quo. Your Impact The essential functions of this position include: Maintain alignment with Presales and Sales leadership for the region Coordinate with Area Practice Directors and National Strategy team to ensure all post sales resources are getting properly trained and are aligned to assigned practices Responsible for resource management, performance management, hiring, and mentorship Ensure the region is constructed in a model that supports the local needs while mapping to the area and national initiatives Ensure all teams are continuously evolving to address our customers’ needs, ePlus’ needs and industry trends Foster teamwork, collaboration and accountability both within the team and throughout the area Coordinates with Sales, Pre Sales and Managed Services organizations as necessary to ensure a superior customer experience is delivered Participate in efforts to streamline process and encourage continuous improvement Participate in regional portfolio management with Sales and Pre Sales Coordinate applicable manufacturer training in team environments as well as individual plans throughout the region (in alignment with regional portfolio) Build and/or maintain reporting on teams to measure efficiency, effectiveness and profitability Ensure the team understands ePlus core values and mission Assist with activities such as events, campaigns, and speaking engagements where appropriate Maintain and recruit 3rd party partnerships needed for delivery Manage and oversee project success with customer satisfaction being the priority Drive process improvement, cultural alignment and leverage technology to improve experience for employees and customers Manage regional P&L performance, forecasting, and budget As a manager, you are also expected to: Lead and guide team members, fostering growth through mentoring, coaching, and development, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
