Centurion is seeking a full-time Director of Policy and Accreditation to join our Corporate Clinical team. This role involves monitoring contract-specific clinical services to ensure compliance with national correctional health care standards (NCCHC, ACA) and other accrediting agencies. The Director will provide on-site consultation, conduct pre-accreditation reviews, and assist with post-accreditation work plans. Responsibilities include coordinating survey scheduling, managing invoices, overseeing the development and revision of company policies and procedures, and managing staff training related to clinical service delivery. The role also oversees Centurion’s continuous quality improvement program and manages the Policy and Accreditation team. The Director will develop pre-accreditation tools, co-lead the internal policy and forms committee, and assist in monitoring contract-specific performance against national standards. The position oversees the State of Accreditation Readiness (SOAR) program, supports facility staff in maintaining accreditation readiness, and represents the company during on-site accreditation visits. Additionally, the Director provides guidance on contract-specific policies, utilizes process improvement techniques, identifies policy requirements based on changing guidelines, and offers on-site and remote support during new contract implementations and thereafter. The role involves providing patient-, unit-, and system-specific clinical consultation, overseeing quality monitoring, performing accreditation site visits, developing work plans for corrective actions, and reviewing facility accreditation information. The Director will also develop/refine model policies and procedures, staff training modules, and provide operational/administrative consultation. Representation at conferences and meetings, and independent self-management are also key aspects of the role.
