About The Position

The Director - PMO at Argano is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall project management function within the organization. They define the project management vision, set strategic direction, and lead a team of senior managers and project managers. They are responsible for leading and managing the organization's project management function. This role involves planning, executing, and closing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Director of Project Management will provide strategic direction, leadership, and guidance to a team of project managers and cross-functional project teams. They make final decisions on professional and supportive matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or PhD in a related field expected.
10+ years of extensive project management experience, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
5+ years of people management experience.
Demonstrated experience in executive leadership and overseeing the entire project management function.
Proven expertise in managing complex programs and large-scale initiatives.
In-depth experience in financial and budget management at the executive level.
Experience developing and implementing a strategic vision for project management in alignment with the organization's objectives.
Experience leading large teams with multiple direct and indirect reports.
Strategic Leadership: Exceptional strategic leadership and vision for the entire project management function.
Program Management: Mastery in program and portfolio management for complex, large-scale initiatives.
Change Management: Expertise in driving organizational change and development.
Organizational Development: Ability to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
Financial Acumen: In-depth financial and budget management expertise at the highest level.
Influential Communication: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influence skills at the executive level.

Escalation Management: Manage proper internal communication to Argano leadership team and stakeholders, ensuring appropriate internal and external escalation processes are followed. Resolve escalations while keeping Argano Delivery Leadership team informed.
