This role centralizes project governance across a $100M+ savings program, builds and presents the consolidated monthly business review across 3PL, Transportation, and Optimization, and manages the cross-functional PMO function for the Optimization Team. With the introduction of the Network Optimization team structure, this role expands to serve as the governance layer above five sub-functions (Outbound Fulfillment, Inbound Placement, Forecasting & Procurement, Network Analytics, and Science), and as the primary connective tissue between IT, Supply Chain, external tech — ensuring all three are synchronized and that O&M extracts full value from its optimization investments. This is a high-visibility leadership role that interfaces directly with VP, SVP, and PE-level stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience in a high-velocity operations environment
  • 3+ years at a technology-driven operations company strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of building operating systems and reporting infrastructure, not just running within them
  • Supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations experience preferred
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream portfolios across cross-functional teams with competing priorities
  • Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet, Monday.com, or equivalent portfolio management tooling
  • Strong financial acumen — ability to read a P&L, build a financial bridge, and translate operational metrics into executive narrative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to VP and C-suite audiences without a handler
  • Ability to build systems and processes where none currently exist; high tolerance for ambiguity with a strong bias toward structure creation
  • Experience translating between operational teams and PE or C-suite financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the Optimization Team PMO: initiative tracking, milestone governance, and Smartsheet portfolio management across the full $100M+ savings program
  • Build and deliver the consolidated monthly business review (MBR) across 3PL, Transportation, and Optimization; present to VP+ and enterprise leadership on behalf of logistics leadership
  • Design and manage the operating cadence: functional TMO templates, Initiative Review packages, SteerCo/OpCo one-pagers, and quarterly Face-to-Face preparation
  • Serve as the cross-functional coordination point between Optimization, Transportation, 3PL, Finance, and Distribution Ops for all portfolio-level dependencies and escalations
  • Build operating standards from the ground up: WBR design, financial bridge methodology, decision-escalation framework, and documentation culture
  • Develop and maintain PE-facing and executive-level reporting; ensure consistent narrative and financial accuracy across all upward communications
  • Serve as the governance layer above the five Network Optimization sub-functions (Outbound Fulfillment, Inbound Placement, Forecasting & Procurement, Network Analytics, and Science) — ensuring cross-function alignment, milestone accountability, and portfolio health across all workstreams
  • Own the connective tissue between the IT organization managing Auger’s technical integration, the Supply Chain organization generating the operational signals Auger acts on, and the Auger platform itself — defining the interface, managing the dependencies, and ensuring breakdowns at that boundary are surfaced and resolved quickly
