The Pipeline Commercialization Strategy (PCS) organization leads the development of the strategic direction of AbbVie’s pipeline, disease area strategies and external innovation strategies. The Director, Pipeline Commercialization Strategy is responsible for driving and enhancing how PCS delivers against its remit of increasing the value of the pipeline portfolio and preparing the late-stage pipeline for launch and affiliate transitions. This role will work across Immunology PCS on strategic initiatives related to optimizing and innovating in commercialization. The core focus will be on special strategic initiatives that optimize commercialization across Immunology PCS (~60%). The Director also holds responsibility for end-to-end stewardship of Gastro pipeline commercialization strategy (~40%), including driving strategy development for Gastro pipeline assets from early-stage (Phase 1–3) and leading the transition to affiliates for launch. This role reports to the Vice President, PCS, Immunology, with a dotted line to the Gastro Lead for PCS, and is based in Lake County, IL.
