POSITION OVERVIEW: Serve as trusted strategic partner to CEO, playing a critical role in the execution of high-level business goals and human capital. Hybrid role, creating a strategic and future ready organization, aligning workforce, culture and talent with operations and growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Project Management training/certification
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR, operations, strategy, or general management
  • Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or regulated environment strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and influence senior leaders
  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, organizational design, and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion, judgment, and integrity
  • Availability to travel across company locations to support strategic, operational, and people initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO on strategy, organizational effectiveness, and execution of workforce alignment, culture, talent and operations to achieve growth objectives across all locations.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable, cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership, milestones, and outcomes. Identify bottlenecks and mitigation actions.
  • Apply P&L understanding to couple human capital ROI to financial outcomes.
  • Lead and manage critical enterprise initiatives (e.g., growth programs, integrations, organizational redesign, operational excellence efforts).
  • Drive alignment and accountability across the executive team and functional leaders.
  • Partner with the CEO to develop and prepare content for Board meetings, strategic reviews, and critical stakeholder engagements, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead the company’s Human Resources strategy and function, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational needs.
  • Oversee talent management, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating locations.
  • Serve as a coach and advisor to senior leaders on people, performance, and organizational issues.
  • Partner with functional leaders and foster a high-trust, high-performance environment grounded in safety, accountability, integrity, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure culture and values evolve and are embedded in systems, processes, and day-to-day decision making.
  • Establish and sustain a disciplined enterprise operating cadence, including executive meetings, KPI and performance reviews, and regular strategic updates.
  • Strengthen cross-functional communication, decision-making, and execution across the organization.
  • Anticipate organizational challenges and work collaboratively across teams to address issues and enhance overall effectiveness.
