About The Position

Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. They offer end-to-end revenue cycle solutions as well as a comprehensive suite of point solutions to clients across the country. Ensemble keeps communities healthy by keeping hospitals healthy. The Director of Patient Access is responsible for administering and reviewing the performance of patient access functions within Ensemble Health Partners. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes, promoting operational efficiency, enhancing the patient experience and meeting regulatory compliance guidelines. This is an onsite position and requires regional travel to other facilities within the market.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3 + years of leadership experience
3+ years of Patient Access experience, preferably within a hospital or multi-unit health system
Demonstrated experience leading front‑end revenue cycle functions, including point‑of‑service collections and denial prevention.
Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements, to include the exploration, experimentation, and application of AI.
Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
Demonstrated use of KPIs to drive and track team performance
Financial and project management experience required
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire (Ensemble supported)

Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for on-site Patient Access staff within a specific hospital or market.
Will provide direction to all admitting and registration teams across all entry points.
