About The Position

GE HealthCare is the global leader in General Imaging Ultrasound, and is accelerating its transition toward enterprise solutions, digital ecosystems, and recurring revenue models. As part of this transformation, strategic partnerships are a critical lever to expand capabilities, accelerate innovation, and deliver differentiated customer outcomes. The Director – Strategic Partnerships will lead the identification, evaluation, onboarding, and lifecycle management of third-party partnerships for the GIPC Ultrasound business. This role sits at the intersection of product, business development, engineering, and commercial teams, and is responsible for building a high-impact ecosystem of partners and ensuring successful commercialization and sustained value creation. This leader will drive an end-to-end partnerships strategy—from market landscaping and partner selection through due diligence, onboarding, commercialization, and lifecycle management—while ensuring strong alignment with product roadmap priorities and commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, healthcare, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience across partnerships, business development, product innovation, or service within healthcare, medtech, or digital health.
  • Proven experience establishing and scaling partner portfolio for a business.
  • Proven experience working across highly matrixed, cross-functional organizations
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen with experience driving financial outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Digital, imaging, or clinical workflow solutions
  • Exposure to digital ecosystems, AI/analytics partnerships, and platform-based business models
  • Familiarity with regulatory, clinical, and technical integration considerations in healthcare
  • Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end initiatives from concept through commercialization

Responsibilities

  • Translate portfolio gaps and customer needs into a prioritized partnership roadmap.
  • Lead market scans with marketing and regions to identify high-potential partners aligned to clinical, technical, and commercial priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional due diligence (product, engineering, regulatory, legal, clinical, commercial) and build business cases for partnership decisions.
  • Establish standard work for onboarding and coordinate cross-functional execution to ensure technical, regulatory, and commercial readiness.
  • Own end-to-end 3P lifecycle management, including governance, relationship management, and ongoing performance tracking.
  • Drive operating rhythms and clear accountability between GEHC teams and partners to ensure aligned execution.
  • Partner with regions and commercial teams to embed partnerships into GTM and drive demand generation, pipeline, and sales execution.
  • Define KPIs, monitor commercial performance, and lead problem-solving to maximize revenue and customer impact.
