About The Position

This role is a senior leadership position responsible for guiding the strategy, execution, and growth of paid search campaigns across multiple client portfolios. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between search strategies, business goals, and overall marketing initiatives. The position requires blending deep technical expertise with executive communication skills, financial oversight, and cross-channel integration. You will lead a high-performing team, drive innovation in automation and measurement, and translate complex insights into actionable, results-driven recommendations. Your work will directly influence client growth, efficiency, and long-term success, while fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Paid Search/Shopping with demonstrated results at scale (>$1M monthly spend)
  • 3+ years of direct people leadership, including experience managing managers and senior ICs
  • Expertise with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Merchant Center, SA360/Skai, and competitive tools (Adthena, SpyFu)
  • Strong cross-channel literacy, connecting search strategies to broader marketing channels and storytelling to executives
  • Financial acumen with experience in forecasting, margin, utilization, and capacity planning
  • Proficiency in data analysis, experiment design, GA4, and synthesizing complex insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience in automation, platform strategy, and integrating AI or data-driven insights into planning
  • Exceptional executive communication, change leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Google Ads Search and Shopping certification required; additional certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the paid search strategy and day-to-day client relationships, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations
  • Drive cross-channel integration by connecting Paid Search with SEO, Social, Commerce/Retail Media, TV/Creative channels
  • Orchestrate platform strategies and automation initiatives (e.g., value-based bidding, Performance Max), providing guardrails and adoption standards
  • Translate competitive, platform, and analytical insights into executive-ready recommendations and actions
  • Own the financial performance of client accounts and channels, including margin, utilization, and forecast accuracy
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms, scorecards, governance, and best practices across the team
  • Mentor and develop managers and senior individual contributors, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture
  • Lead onboarding, transitions, escalations, renewals, and expansion initiatives to ensure consistent client satisfaction and growth
