DIRECTOR - OUTPATIENT SERVICES
About The Position
Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility providing a full continuum of inpatient services across all patient populations, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults, and older adults. The facility also performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day and offers programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. The facility boasts a robust outpatient program that utilizes a combination of group, family, and individual therapy. We are seeking a Director of Outpatient Services to help grow this program. The OP Director will provide clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services, manage all activities involving outpatient referrals from the initial call through the completion of treatment plans, coordinate caseloads, develop and manage outpatient staff, and market the program. The primary goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business developmental systems.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work or counseling or licensed RN.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
- Current RN, LPC or LMSW (fully licensed by the State of Michigan).
- A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities.
- CPR and CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.
