In support of the university’s mission and objectives, the Director or Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics and Recreational Facilities and Operations manages the day-to-day operations of all athletics and recreational facilities on campus. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and effective use of athletic venues, including scheduling, maintenance, and staffing, while collaborating with athletic teams, recreational programs, and external stakeholders. This position works closely with Athletics leadership to support the strategic goals of the department, enhance the student-athlete experience, and promote the overall well-being of the university community through quality facilities. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate, this position may be filled at either the Director or Assistant Athletic Director level, for Athletics and Recreational Facilities and Operations.
