About The Position
The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership for a high-volume distribution center, with full accountability for operational performance, P&L, and people leadership. This role drives cross-functional execution, optimizes performance, and builds a high-performing culture aligned to McKesson’s ICARE and ILEAD values.
Requirements
- 10+ years of operations experience, including 4+ years leading leaders
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations with financial accountability
Nice To Haves
- Distribution, supply chain, or pharmaceutical experience
- Experience with WMS and large-scale operations environments
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end distribution center operations, including P&L, inventory, and service performance
- Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally (HR, Finance, Engineering, Transportation, Sales) to drive results
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and workforce
- Ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, OSHA, and company policies
- Champion a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement
